Job Description Part-time SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Norwood Start Date: September About the School: We are working with an SEN school in Norwood that is dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students aged 11 to 19 with Autism. Their inclusive environment aims to foster growth, learning, and development for all of their students. Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.

The role involves supporting students with Autism and covering lunch breaks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the educational and social development of students. Provide support to individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.

Help manage classroom behaviour. Cover lunch breaks, ensuring students' needs are met in a safe and supportive environment. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 9:30am to 1:30pm Requirements: Experience working with children with Autism or in an SEN setting is preferred. A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
