Company Description
For over 160 years, Frette has crafted exquisite linens, blending Italian artistry with timeless luxury. Master artisans in Monza and Milan transform the finest fibers into creations of unmatched quality and elegance. Renowned for its signature finish, Frette has graced iconic destinations-from St. Peter's Basilica to the Orient Express-while over 500 European royal families have slept beneath its sheets. Today, its legacy lives on in luxury hotels, private residences, yachts, and jets, remaining dedicated to outfitting the world's most exceptional spaces.
Job Description
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Store Manager to lead our Houston Galleria boutique and drive business performance in a growing market.
Opened in late 2024, this boutique presents a unique opportunity to take ownership of a newer location-building a strong client base, developing a high-performing team, and establishing Frette as a destination within the local luxury community.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team to consistently exceed sales and service goals
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Set clear expectations, analyze performance, and implement action plans to drive results
  • Lead daily and monthly meetings to align priorities, communicate business updates, and strengthen team engagement

Sales & Business Development
  • Act as a Frette Brand Ambassador, modeling elevated selling and storytelling around heritage and craftsmanship
  • Drive store profitability through strong KPI management and strategic decision-making
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base through CRM, outreach, and personalized service
  • Establish partnerships with interior designers, hospitality partners, and local businesses to grow the brand presence
  • Ensure an exceptional "white glove" client experience, including bespoke services and in-home consultations

Operations & Store Excellence
  • Oversee all aspects of store operations including scheduling, reporting, and financial performance
  • Ensure execution of visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
  • Manage inventory, stock flow, and loss prevention processes
  • Partner with corporate teams to execute business initiatives and continuously improve store performance
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of retail management experience, preferably within luxury retail, hospitality, or interior design
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze trends and adapt strategies
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CRM tools, clienteling, and relationship-driven selling
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 40 lbs. using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Ability to move throughout the boutique, stockroom, and offsite locations as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and climbing ladders

Additional Information
Frette offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, commission, and performance-based bonus opportunities. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead within a globally recognized luxury brand while making a direct impact on business performance and team success.
