About the role
Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a Server Assistant to join our team at Talavera, our signature Spanish steakhouse. As a key part of our restaurant team, you will help create exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, thoughtful details, and genuine hospitality. From delivering food and beverages and maintaining beautiful table settings to supporting seamless service throughout the restaurant, you'll play an important role in bringing the Talavera experience to life. We're looking for an upbeat, service-minded individual who loves working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team that supports one another.
What you will do
  • Greet guests and create a welcoming dining experience, including water, bread, and butter service.
  • Deliver food and beverages accurately while ensuring quality presentation and attentive service.
  • Clear, clean, reset, and prepare tables with linens, china, glassware, and silverware for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout dining areas, service stations, and support spaces.
  • Support the team by refilling beverages, stocking supplies, and assisting colleagues to ensure seamless service.

What you bring
  • Previous Server Assistant experience required, with experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel/resort setting preferred.
  • Physical stamina to remain on your feet throughout the shift and knowledge of basic food safety practices.
  • Valid Maricopa County Food Handler Card required; wine, food, and spirits knowledge is a plus.
  • A warm, service-focused approach with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • The ability to stay organized, adapt to changing priorities, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
