We are currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to add to our UBC&S team. The ideal candidate will have experience and a solid understanding of truss building. Additional duties and requirements may include:
  • Loading trailers with lumber and other trim items using a forklift
  • Performing light carpentry
  • Forklift operation
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not currently certified
  • Ability to read and understand delivery tickets and packing slips
  • Receive deliveries from suppliers by hand or with a forklift
  • Deliver items to branch offices
  • Maintain lumberyard organization and cleanliness
  • Perform additional tasks requested by management

Work Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays based on demand)
  • Lift up to 100 lbs. at a minimum of 5 times a day
  • Climb stairs up to 20 ft. high
  • Remain standing for at least two hours at a time
  • Able to provide accurate counting of materials in lumberyard at any time
  • Wear PPE such as gloves, close-fitting safety glasses, steel toe boots, and Hi-Vis uniform shirt
  • Pre-employment background check is required
  • Must be dependable with reliable transportation
