Responsibilities
Setup, troubleshoot, and manage basic operation of CNC mill/turn equipment
Study blueprints, manuals, SOP, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and
tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup requirements
Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed
control data
Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly or other work if needed
Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly if required
Maintaining smooth product flow which includes safety, quality, productivity, job assignments, and
delivery
Precisely log work performed during setup/run times including quantities into our MRP system
(Visual)
Good communicator who can confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others
to resolve machining or assembly problems
Perform other duties as required by management
Requirements
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as using precision measurement tools
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Attention to detail and results-driven approach to work
Good communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma of relevant discipline is a plus
6 months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience
