Job description

Summary/Objective: The position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests. Servers take orders and deliver food and beverages to restaurant guests while ensuring exceptional customer service. Handle payments and maintain cleanliness in their work environment.

Essential Job Functions: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and escort customers to their tables.
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked.
  • Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Deliver checks and collect payments.
  • Cooperate with all restaurant staff to provide excellent dining experience.
  • Clean and sanitize dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste materials properly.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors on a regular basis.
  • Assist with other cleaning tasks as directed by management.

    Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong dependability and work ethic.
  • Experience handling and serving hot and cold food items preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions, preparing beverages, and serving food.
  • Team spirit and flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Handson experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g., POS).
  • Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant setting.
  • Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Travel Requirements: No travel is expected for this position.

    Work Environment: The server position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interaction with staff and customers. The role involves prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
