Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: Secret Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Job Description: The contractor shall provide expert technical support in several key areas, including the review and deployment of vendor security patches to ensure that all systems remain secure and up to date. The contractor shall also offer knowledge and support for storage technologies such as Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS), enabling efficient data management and retrieval. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * The contractor shall utilize server performance tuning and monitoring tools to optimize server performance and address any issues proactively. * The contractor shall be proficient in configuring and managing servers using tools like Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), ensuring proper system operation. * With strong network troubleshooting skills, the contractor shall identify and resolve network issues effectively to maintain seamless network performance. * The contractor shall provide clear and accurate technical documentation to record configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and system management practices, ensuring all processes are well-documented for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting. * The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining and operating a computer system and/or network.
