Eyefinity Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Eye Care Professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Eye Care Professional, you need a thorough understanding of ocular anatomy, eye diseases, vision assessment, and typically require an optometry or ophthalmology degree with relevant licensure. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as slit lamps, autorefractors, and electronic health record systems is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and patient education abilities set outstanding professionals apart. These skills ensure accurate diagnoses, effective patient care, and positive clinical outcomes in vision health.

How does an Eye Care Professional typically collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care?

Eye Care Professionals, such as optometrists or ophthalmologists, often work closely with primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and other specialists to provide holistic patient care—especially for conditions like diabetes or hypertension that can affect vision. Collaboration may involve sharing patient information, co-managing treatment plans, and referring patients for specialized care when necessary. Effective communication with other healthcare providers helps ensure accurate diagnoses and comprehensive management of both ocular and systemic health issues.

What are Eye Care Professionals?

Eye Care Professionals are healthcare providers who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions and vision problems. This category includes optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians, each with different levels of training and expertise. Optometrists perform eye exams and prescribe corrective lenses, ophthalmologists are medical doctors who can perform eye surgery, and opticians fit and dispense glasses and contact lenses. Together, they help maintain eye health and provide care for a wide range of vision needs.

Job description

Optometrist Opportunity At Front Range Family Eye Care

Located in the Centennial State, Front Range Family Eye Care is a multi-location practice that provides its patients with professional eye care services in a comfortable and friendly environment. As a well-established business, the practice continues to grow, and a long-term opportunity is now available for the right Optometrist. If you're dedicated to a career of helping individuals, see their world clearly and want to work with a team of talented professionals in a rewarding environment, this is your chance!

Why join us?

Established in 2006, Front Range Family Eye Care is a well-known practice with five locations across the Denver metro area. The team of dynamic professionals is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through advanced technology and a patient-first approach. Specializing in dry eye treatment, macular degeneration, and contact lenses, the practice creates a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. With a commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the community and a vision for continued growth as a premier eye care provider, the practice offers an opportunity to be a part of a dedicated team that makes a real impact on patients' lives.

You'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Medical insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Production bonus
  • Malpractice insurance paid
  • Additional benefits based on qualifications

What you'll do:

As an Optometrist at this multi-location practice, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, personalized eye care to all patients. You'll educate patients about their eye health and emphasize the importance of maintaining good vision. With access to equipment such as Optos, OCT, Lipiflow, Maculogix, and Tear Care, you'll have the necessary resources to diagnose and manage various eye conditions effectively. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected practice that has been serving the greater Denver community for the past 18 years. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, with an expected patient load of 15 patients per day.

Who you are:

You're a team player who possesses excellent clinical and patient communication skills and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. You consistently go above and beyond to exceed patient expectations by providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care. Your commitment to continuous learning, exceptional communication skills, and passion for making a positive impact in others' lives are essential qualities for this role. You will play a vital role in the continued success and expansion of the business.

Why you'll love Denver:

As the state capital, Denver is located on the Front Range Urban Corridor between the Rocky Mountains and High Plains. With 300 days of sunshine, a thriving cultural scene, diverse neighborhoods, natural beauty, and exhilarating adventures, Denver is ranked as one of the best places to live in the United States. Just outside of city limits, the Colorado countryside opens up into vast stretches of forest and mountains, offering an abundance of recreational options. The area is home to miles of hiking, cycling, and horseback riding trails and, in the wintertime, presents the opportunity for world-class skiing. Downtown Denver is the perfect destination for those looking for a unique mix of activities—trendy restaurants, locally-owned boutiques, live entertainment—there's something for everyone to enjoy. Residents can enjoy musicals, plays, and concerts at the Denver Performing Arts Complex in the lively theater district. Denver's proximity to the Denver International Airport—less than 20 miles—makes it an ideal choice to practice and a prime location to live.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Optometry license in the state of Colorado
