Job description

Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced technology company, is seeking an Electronics and Electromechanical Technician Contractor to join their team. As an Electronics and Electromechanical Technician Contractor, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Engineering, Prototype Development, and Test Lab Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and independent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electronics and Electromechanical Technician
Location: Roseville, CA.
Pay Range:$30 - $40 H/r

What's the Job?
  • Perform precision soldering, rework, and repair of fine-pitch surface mount components on dense PCBAs.
  • Assist with prototype assembly, fabrication, and development of testing equipment.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including material handling, storage, and documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, calibration schedules, supplies, and compliance with ESD and safety protocols.
  • Install and move computer systems, servers, switches, perform cabling, conduct firmware upgrades, and initiate test regressions.
What's Needed?
  • Technical degree or certification in Electronics; CIS soldering certification preferred.
  • Experience with precision soldering, PCB assembly, and electronic troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment, computer hardware, networking equipment, and cabling techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
