As a Cloud Architect, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing to design, implement, and oversee innovative cloud solutions that align with business objectives. Working under general direction, you will independently develop strategies and technical solutions to complex challenges, contributing to cloud adoption plans, application design, and system management. Your role will involve leading the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based systems. This position offers the opportunity to drive impactful change while providing technical leadership in a rapidly evolving domain.
The proposed salary range for this position is$110,095-$153,603. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILTIES
Develop and oversee the organization’s cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, application architecture, and management
Work with analysts, engineers, and programmers to define project limitations, system capabilities, and interface requirements
Lead consultative engagements with domain architects, sales consultants, business analysts, and technical staff to ensure successful project delivery
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5–7 years of experience in cloud architecture, or a Master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience.
Comprehensive understanding, documenting, and applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in cloud computing.
Having earned one of the following certifications; CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, SSCP, or GSEC
Experiencing providing technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions
