Your Responsibilities
  • Executing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized care pathways
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues autonomously or in collaboration with physicians
  • Providing education to patients and families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
  • Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with your qualifications

Education Essentials
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York state
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
