Job description

Overview

As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll support clients across a locally defined territory with a primary focus on the Madison Markets. You’ll work hands‑on with cutting‑edge technology while partnering with a diverse client base—all within an organization that truly backs its service technicians.

We set you up for success from day one: a car allowance (or, in some cases, a company vehicle), company‑provided cell phone and laptop, covered fuel expenses, and a fast, hassle‑free reimbursement process. Our goal is simple: remove distractions so you can focus on what you do best—maintaining top‑of‑the‑line equipment and delivering exceptional service that turns customers into raving fans.

This role is not a national or even interstate “road warrior” position. While driving to clients is required, it’s focused mostly on local clients in and around the local market. Responsibilities

Below are some more details:

  • Perform field service, installations or preventive maintenance as required.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of different people.
  • Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
  • Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Ideally someone with experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. With this experience we're looking for developed repair skills, focused on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of your craft.
