Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Conversion Lead to oversee data migration activities in a critical modernization effort. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate data migration from legacy systems to a modern platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and maintain data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage data conversion strategies aligned with project timelines.
- Validate data accuracy and usability in the new system with various stakeholders.
- Coordinate with technical teams to oversee data migration processes.
- Lead data cleanup efforts and resolve conversion-related issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data mapping and conversion processes.
Required Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and Erwin Data Modeler.
- Strong understanding of legacy-to-modern system conversion methodologies.
- Proficient in data reconciliation, validation, and testing within staging environments.
- Experience in government tax/revenue operations and associated challenges.
- Familiarity with governance models and data ownership frameworks.
