Pay: $25–$37 per hour
Schedule: First Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position focuses on either CNC lathe or CNC milling operations, depending on your experience and expertise. Responsibilities include machine setup, operation, quality inspections, and process adjustments to ensure precision, efficiency, and adherence to strict aerospace standards.
The ideal candidate has strong CNC machining experience, can interpret blueprints and technical documentation, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with both lathes and mills is not required—this role will be tailored to the machine type you are most proficient with.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathe or milling machines
Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and work instructions
Perform first-article inspections and maintain dimensional accuracy throughout production
Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and preset gages
Enter tool offsets and make machine adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues
Operate multiple machines performing similar operations when required
Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor equipment performance
Accurately complete production, quality, and inspection documentation
Follow AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards, including traceability and revision control requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience
Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
Proven experience with complete machine setup and operation
Proficiency using precision inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators
Ability to install tooling and enter offsets into machine controls
Experience producing precision components to tight tolerances
