    AutomotiveDealership Office Assistant
    Auto Exchange Chevrolet
    Ourcompany has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highlydriven and experienced individual to perform various clerical dutiesand accounting functions as determined by the Office Manager.
    ***Someaccounting knowledge is required for consideration of this position.***
    Job Responsibilities
    • PerformsA/P and/or A/R functions, deposits, cashreceipts, billing, etc.
    • Coordinatesmonth-end and quarterly accounting reviews
    • Preparesdaily inventory and units sold reports
    • Updatesclient records as needed
    • Verifiesdata, completes state forms, makesdisbursement for taxes andfees, and submits to the state
    • Processesnew car and pre-owned registrations ondealer's software system
    • Processespre-owned vehicle title transfers
    • Preparesand distributes title envelopes
    • Maintainsfollow-up on all incoming titles
    • Maintainsand reconciles schedules for tax, title andlicense payableand lien payoffs
    • Processespayoffs on trade-ins and floor plan, pullscontracts andforwards to financial institutions
    • Verifiesfinance and insurance (F&I) data todocuments
    • Reconcilesinventory schedules as assigned on a weeklyand monthly basis
    • Processes rebates
    • Attendsdepartment meetings
    • Providessupport to Office Manager

    Requirements
    Educationand/or Experience
    • Automotivedealership experience preferred but notrequired
    • Accountingknowledge required (college degree and/or workexperience)
    • CurrentNotary Public commission preferred
