About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Identity Services, the Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Identity Services team. This position works with internal and external teams across the province to ensure the services we provide fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth and meet or exceed business requirements. This position will lead projects, improvement initiatives, roadmap items, and business cases in collaboration with eHealth and its partners.

To succeed in this role, you must build strong relationships, deliver excellent customer service, and solve complex IT problems. You need to communicate clearly, know when to involve subject matter experts, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, technologydriven environment where situations are not always clearcut. Strong skills in project management, problem solving, documentation, change management, and quality control are required, along with knowledge of application best practices and future integrations across business and program areas.

What You'll Do
Reporting to the Manager, Identity Services, you will:
Lead initiatives by gathering, validating, and managing technical business requirements.
Drive large projects, including documentation, implementation planning, execution, incident management, and ongoing support.
Act as a technically skilled senior business analyst with broad knowledge and experience, able to translate technical issues into clear business needs.
Quickly understand technical details, their interdependencies, and the impact of solutions within the target environment.

What You'll Bring to the Team
A postsecondary degree or diploma in computer science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum five years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an integrated IT environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and platforms, including Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Microsoft Entra ID.
Experience managing projects or initiatives in a technologydriven environment with hands on experience creating and executing test plans.
A proven track record of group facilitation.
Strong interpersonal skills to lead, develop, and manage working relationship with stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills to present ideas and recommendations to clinical and IT professionals.
Proven documentation skills to coordinate development of project related artifacts including but not limited to architectural diagrams, proposals, charters, business requirements, and schedules.
IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) Gold Level is considered an asset.
