About the Role
As a Senior Financial Consultant, you will provide financial expertise to internal stakeholders while helping build new processes and strengthen financial operations.
The ideal candidate is a motivated and results-oriented accounting professional with leadership experience, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to mentor and coach others. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, contribute to process improvements, and help ensure high-quality financial service delivery.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Director, Financial Services, you will:
Provide analysis for budget development and advise managers on budget submissions.
 Prepare and analyze monthly rolling forecasts in collaboration with business partners.
 Work with multiple divisions to understand pricing requirements and contracts within eHealth's costing model.
 Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial operations.
 Provide leadership in day-to-day finance operations, ensuring delivery of quality services.
 Ensure financial procedures align with eHealth policies and sound accounting practices.
 Mentor, train, and coach team members on policies, procedures, and standards.
 Oversee year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
What You'll Bring to the Team
A Post-secondary degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and/or Accounting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
 Minimum of five years experience working as a Financial Consultant or a similar role with a strong focus on forecasting and budgeting.
 Proven experience with financial accounting principles and reporting standards, supported by a CPA designation.
 Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with senior leaders and non-financial stakeholders.
 Proven ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that support decision-making.
 Experience leading, coaching, and developing finance teams in a dynamic environment.
 Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
