Job description

Dynamis, Inc. is hiring experienced real estate and facilities professionals to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS), one of the nation's premier federal law enforcement and facility security agencies. Our team provides direct support to FPS's dynamic and mission-critical real estate portfolio spanning approximately 820,000 square feet of office and warehouse space across roughly 180 offices and 280 occupancy agreements nationwide. You'll work alongside FPS leadership and GSA counterparts to optimize the agency's real estate footprint, execute complex space planning and relocation projects, manage occupancy agreements, and advance long-term strategic portfolio goals. This is high-visibility work at the intersection of federal real estate, infrastructure, and homeland security where your expertise shapes how FPS operates, grows, and serves the nation.

The Senior Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of complex build-out, reconfiguration, and real estate projects across FPS's 820,000+ square foot portfolio. You'll manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across simultaneous projects serving as the primary interface between FPS leadership, GSA, contractors, and internal stakeholders. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for an experienced PM who knows how to navigate federal construction and real estate processes and drive projects across the finish line.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle project management for build-out, reconfiguration, and tenant improvement projects from planning through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project plans, WBS, schedules, budgets, and risk registers across concurrent FPS projects
  • Serve as FPS's primary liaison to GSA and building management on all capital project coordination matters
  • Chair weekly project status meetings; prepare executive briefings and written reports for FPS leadership
  • Monitor contractor performance against scope and schedule; identify and resolve delays, change orders, and technical issues
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable federal regulations, codes, and FPS security requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior project team members; contribute to development of PM tools and processes
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • 8–12 years of progressively responsible project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing federal construction or real estate projects
  • PMP certification required; additional credentials (LEED, CFM, RICS) a plus
  • Deep familiarity with GSA procurement processes, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and federal project delivery frameworks
  • Demonstrated success managing projects with budgets exceeding $2M across multiple simultaneous workstreams
  • Strong leadership presence and communication skills; experience briefing senior government officials
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
