The Project Manager is responsible for leading all phases of construction projects-from preconstruction through closeout-ensuring successful delivery aligned with budget, schedule, and quality objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate teams, manage risk, and drive project performance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining a focus on profitability and client satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Overseeing multiple job sites and managing projects through all phases of construction
    • Developing and executing project work plans, schedules, and resource strategies
    • Managing project budgets, estimating, and change order pricing
    • Coordinating subcontractors and overseeing trade contractor performance
    • Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
    • Administering construction contracts, permits, and regulatory requirements
    • Leading project teams, including supervision of Project Engineers
    • Identifying risks, disputes, and potential claims, and proactively managing resolution
    • Monitoring project progress, conducting status meetings, and ensuring adherence to schedules
    • Managing project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and risk mitigation
    • Communicating regularly with owners, architects, and stakeholders regarding project status

    Requirements

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science
    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing or supporting increasingly complex construction projects

    Technical & Professional Skills:

    • Proven ability to develop accurate project estimates and pricing reports
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methods
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines under pressure
    • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams

    Core Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability
    • Ability to drive projects to completion while maintaining quality, safety, and profitability

    Benefits

    • Competitive base salary ($110K-$197K) with discretionary bonus potential
    • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance (PPO and HSA options with company contributions)
    • Company-paid life insurance, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability coverage
    • Untracked/unlimited vacation policy
    • Paid sick leave with annual carryover
    • 9 paid holidays annually
    • Paid parental leave
    • 401(k) with employer match (up to 4%) and immediate vesting
    • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - 100% company-funded ownership opportunity
