    How You’ll Contribute:

At Diversified, we design and deliver technology solutions that protect, connect and elevate the world’s most complex environments. Within our Electronic Security Solutions (ESS) team, we go beyond traditional security, engineering integrated electronic security systems including IP-based access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems that safeguard people, assets and operations.

The Senior Field Service Engineer – Electronic Security is a senior technical role responsible for onsite troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex electronic security systems. You will support service operations by maintaining system performance and ensuring continuity across client environments.

Working across access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, you will act as a technical escalation point for field engineers and technicians, while leading small-scale service projects and system upgrades. You will operate as an onsite liaison, working closely with clients, service teams, and installation teams across environments including corporate offices, data centers, warehouses, and construction sites.

This is a full-time onsite role, Monday to Friday. Overtime and participation in on-call rotations may be required based on operational needs.

Note: US Citizenship is required for this position due to the government customers it supports.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix repairs across access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
    • Act as the primary technical escalation point, delivering advanced diagnostics, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
    • Maintain and optimize ESS system performance, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
    • Lead small-scale service projects and system upgrades, coordinating schedules and technical resources.
    • Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring system readiness and reliability.
    • Diagnose, repair, test, and validate ESS components and systems, ensuring safe and accurate implementation.
    • Collaborate with manufacturers, engineers, and project teams to resolve complex technical issues.
    • Configure, monitor, and maintain IP-based security systems and networked devices.
    • Maintain accurate service records, including ticket updates, reporting, and documentation from issue to resolution.
    • Support end users with system access, troubleshooting, and operational guidance.
    • Act as an onsite liaison, ensuring clear communication between clients, stakeholders, and Diversified teams.
    • Support live environments and event spaces where ESS systems are required to operate reliably.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and service delivery.

    What You’ll Bring:

    Education & Certifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • US Citizenship.
    • Manufacturer certifications from one or more leading ESS platforms, such as (Lenel, Genetec, S2, DMP, Bosch, Milestone, Software House, DCJS (VA and TX only), OSHA 30, Lift or Boom cert).

    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience installing and supporting enterprise-level security systems, including card access, CCTV, CATV, and intrusion detection in compliance with manufacturer standards and engineered drawings.
    • Industry-recognized certifications in access control or video management systems (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, CCure 9000, DMP, Honeywell, etc.).
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS architectures, including network configuration, IP addressing, routing, device connectivity, and troubleshooting of networked security devices.
    • Proficiency with major ESS platforms, such as Lenel, CCure, DMP, Honeywell, Brivo, Milestone, ExacqVision, Eagle Eye, Axis, and Hanwha.
    • Experience using Bluebeam, System Surveyor, D-tools, or similar tools for documentation, markup, and project coordination.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and support multi-discipline technical teams, including involvement in regional or enterprise-scale project deployments.
    • Strong competencies in AutoCAD and Visio, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
    • Basic wiring and cable termination skills relevant to ESS installations and servicing.
    • Excellent client-facing communication skills.
    • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods; working in high or confined spaces; and operating in varied environmental conditions.
    • Competence in safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and required safety equipment.
    • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and sustain frequent physical activity throughout the workday.
