Youโ€™ll collaborate with the Branch Manager to drive branch growth, implement creative strategies to enhance productivity, and make informed decisions that support both employees and members. The Opportunity:ย We are seeking a full time Assistant Branch Manager for our Taylor branch.ย  ย 

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Assist Manager with all branch operations and staff supervision.
  • Coach and develop branch staff to achieve sales and service performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with credit union procedures.
  • Use membership data to proactively offer additional products and services to members.
  • Suggest and promote creative ideas to increase sales productivity.
  • Design and promote activities to increase branch profitability.
  • Make exceptions to policy and procedures when necessary.
  • Write and administer performance reviews.
  • Effectively communicate changes in policy and procedure.
  • Resolve member disputes and defuse possible conflict.
  • Perform the duties of Vault Teller, as required.
  • Schedule cash and platform staff for efficient branch coverage.
  • Perform onboarding and training to new Tellers.
  • Contribute to branch sales goals.
  • Interpret and act on information in management reports.
  • Maintain knowledge of credit union consumer loan policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the complete loan process within the branch.
  • Provide notary and medallion signature guarantee services.
  • Provide membership, loan and cash services.
  • Saturday hours required.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferred.
  • Three years current experience in a sales position in a financial environment.
  • Three years current experience supervising employees.
  • Ability to function as a team leader.
  • Ability to effectively coach staff and achieve performance goals.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Computer literate.
  • Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to work in any of our branches.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
