Job description

Veterinarian (DVM) – General Practice | Powell, OH

A well-established companion animal hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join its collaborative and patient-focused team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and urgent care services in a well-equipped clinic supported by experienced veterinary technicians and staff. The hospital values teamwork, professional growth, and delivering compassionate care to pets and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical, surgical, and preventative care for feline patients

  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning

  • Diagnose and manage a variety of feline health conditions

  • Educate pet owners on treatment options, wellness care, and preventative medicine

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient care

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure

  • Strong communication and client education skills

  • Compassionate approach to patient care

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
