Maintenance and Project Engineering Co-Op (Fall 2026)
Deceuninck North America is seeking a Maintenance Project Engineering Co-Op (Fall 2026) for its Monroe, OH facility. As Maintenance Project Engineer Co-Op you will be responsible for providing support for and leading department projects, equipment installations, process improvements, equipment upgrades, and supporting the daily activities of the Maintenance team as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scopes, timelines, budgets and resource plans for assigned Intern projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality and safety to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policy.
  • Assist with the installation, commissioning, and optimization of manufacturing lines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation including drawings, SOP's, maintenance manuals and project records.
  • Digitize existing legacy documentation.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and providing engineering solutions to production challenges.
  • Participate in the ongoing effort to modernize and improve equipment and processes throughout the facility.

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office or related software
  • Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor)
  • Strong analytical and sound decision-making skills
  • Professional communication

Education Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing) at an accredited four-year university
