This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with engineering, strategy and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Fleet Operations Tooling Strategy:
  • Lead the strategy for unified fleet operations tooling, creating a scalable ecosystem that streamlines vehicle mission management, health monitoring, and customer assistance at every stage of the operational lifecycle.
  • Translate insights into clear product requirements and a prioritized backlog that delivers measurable customer and business value.

Command Center Product Ownership:
  • Lead the product definition and development for our Command Center Fleet operations application, including:
    • Config/deployment
    • In-facility bring-up and launch
    • on-road fleet management
    • field support
    • Maintenance

Technical Product Management & Delivery:
  • Author detailed technical product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams across customer experience and fleet systems.
  • Demonstrate a strong bias for action and a proven ability to drive complex technical projects from concept through launch and iteration in an agile environment.
  • Partner closely with software engineering (cloud, embedded, mobile), hardware engineering, AI/ML, and QA teams to ensure features are technically sound, built to specification, and delivered on time.

Data-Driven Iteration & Optimization:
  • Define and meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, engagement, task success rates, operational efficiency, and overall experience quality.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, HCI/Human Factors, or relevant technical field
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a demonstrable strong technical background, specifically focused on customer-facing software products, operational tools, or complex system integrations.
  • Proven history of successfully delivering technically challenging products from initial concept through multiple iterations and commercial launch.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and modern software architecture (including cloud-based services and distributed systems).
  • Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, mobile application development (iOS/Android), platform/API integrations, or operational command and control interfaces.
  • Exceptional ability to translate customer and operator needs into detailed technical requirements and effectively communicate them to engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience in the autonomous vehicle, automotive technology, ride-sharing, or logistics/fleet management industries.
  • Experience with in-vehicle operating systems (e.g., Android Automotive, QNX), display technologies, and vehicle communication protocols.
  • Experience defining, building, and managing APIs for third-party integrations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and technologies relevant to fleet management and real-time data processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both embedded/hardware engineering teams and cloud/mobile software engineering teams.
  • A genuine passion for creating innovative, intuitive, and delightful user experiences in emerging technology domains for both end-customers and internal operational users.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing for both consumer-facing and enterprise/operational tools.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive compensation package, including salary, bonus, and equity.
  • A unique opportunity to work on industry-defining technology with a world-class team.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
