Daikin Applied is seeking a strategic, creative, and business-minded communications leader to own and evolve our enterprise social media strategy and digital engagement approach. What you will do:

Social Media Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute DaikinApplied'senterprise social media strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
• Establish governance, channel standards, publishing guidelines, and best practices
• Build and maintain an integrated social media calendar aligned to company priorities, campaigns, product launches, events, and employer brand initiatives
• Continuously evaluate platform performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, and brand visibility

Content Development & Storytelling

• Identify and develop compelling stories that showcase DaikinApplied'speople, customers, innovations, culture, and business impact
• Translate complex technical topics into engaging, accessible content for external audiences
• Develop social content including executive posts, campaign narratives, video concepts, and event coverage
• Partner with designers, agencies, and stakeholders to produce high-quality content
• Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across channels

Executive Visibility & Employee Advocacy

• Support executive social presence and thought leadership initiatives
• Develop programs that encourage employee advocacy and responsible engagement
• Identify opportunities to amplify key business milestones through leadership voices
• Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on effective social media engagement

Social Listening & Market Intelligence

• Lead enterprise social listening to monitor industry trends, customer sentiment, and competitive activity
• Identify opportunities and risks that may impact reputation or stakeholder engagement
• Translate insights into recommendations that shape messaging, campaigns, and communications strategies
• Deliver actionable intelligence to Communications, Marketing, HR, and business leaders
• Partner with Corporate Communications on reputation management and issues monitoring

Integrated Communications & Strategic Partnership

• Partner closely with Communications, Marketing, HR, and business leaders to develop coordinated plans that maximize impact
• Serve as the enterprise amplification engine, extending priority narratives across social channels in a deliberate, integrated way
• Identify opportunities to connect social with earned media, executive communications, employee communications, and owned channels
• Serve as a strategic advisor on how digital engagement supports broader business objectives
• Contribute to the continued evolution of DaikinApplied'sintegrated communications model

Analytics & Performance

• Measure and report on audience growth, engagement, share of voice, and campaign effectiveness
• Develop dashboards and executive reporting that translate metrics into meaningful insights
• Connect digital engagement metrics to broader business outcomes, including brand visibility, talent attraction, and reputation
• Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and audience insights

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• 8-10+ years of experience in social media, communications, digital marketing, or related disciplines
• Demonstrated success building and executing enterprise social media strategies
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Experience supporting executive communications and thought leadership
• Experience with social listening, analytics, and content platforms
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence across functions and partner with senior leaders
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect communications to enterprise priorities
• Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B, manufacturing, industrial, or technical industries
• Experienceintegrating social media with PR, thought leadership, and employee communications
• Experience managing agencies and external partners
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams and enterprise-wide programs

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from$90,000k - $153,300k and a bonus potential up to 10%. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
