    Senior Vice President/Vice President, Marketing role
    As Senior Vice President/Vice President, Marketing, you'll join our global team of 300+ marketers, to drive our marketing strategy and accelerate growth in our Hospitality Cloud division. You will bring deep expertise in the hospitality industry to help Cvent deliver value to this special customer set. This highly visible role serves as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies that deliver business objectives
    In This Role, You Will:
    • Serve as the Operating Model Lead for marketing, acting as a key architect of Cvent's marketing strategy for the Hospitality Cloud business.
    • Deeply understand hospitality market trends, customer needs, and buyer segments, including hotels, hotel management chains, convention/visitor bureaus and unique venues, and translate these insights into actionable marketing strategies.
    • Own and drive the achievement of bookings quotas through the design and execution of innovative brand positioning, packaging strategies, and go-to-market motions in close collaboration with Sales and Product Management.
    • Oversee the execution of strategic customer marketing initiatives in close collaboration with Customer Success to improve customer satisfaction, retention, advocacy and account expansion.
    • Provide matrix leadership and oversight to cross-functional marketing teams (including Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, Brand/PR, Events, Marketing Operations, Customer Marketing and others) to ensure alignment and execution of marketing initiatives. These functions will report "dotted line" into this leader with a clear accountability and performance measures.
    • Partner with Product Management, Sales, and other Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and bring new and existing products and solutions to market.
    • Lead the cross-functional execution of marketing strategies, emphasizing data-driven differentiation, value propositions, and effective messaging and positioning.
    • Develop and maintain segment-based marketing plans designed to drive bookings, customer expansion, and retention.
    • Evangelize Cvent's products and platform to internal and external audiences, including Sales, channel partners, industry analysts, and others.
    • Drive the necessary business inspection "rhythms" and accountability that meets or exceeds the measurable outcomes that have been defined.
    • Drive continuous learning and operational excellence in the areas of people, systems, process (including AI) optimization.
    • Use data and analytics to measure results, inform decision-making, and optimize strategy.

    Here's What You Need:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related area; MBA is a plus.
    • 15+ years of experience in marketing or related functions, with a proven track record of driving strategy and delivering results in a matrixed environment.
    • Demonstrated experience marketing to hotels, hotel management chains, convention/visitors' bureaus and/or unique venues is required.
    • Deep understanding of the diverse personas, challenges, and business models of the hospitality industry.
    • Experience working in the hospitality industry is a preferred plus.
    • Strong executive presence and influence, with a history of building consensus and driving execution across cross-functional teams.
    • Experience supporting integrated go-to-market motions, including demand generation, sales, channel, and services.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
    • Ability to bring a "growth mindset" to your leadership role with a hunger to work in a fast paced, intrapreneurial environment.
    • Data-driven approach to measuring results and informing strategy.
    • Experience exploring (and thirst to continue) how creative, responsible use of AI can improve internal productivity and customer experience.
