    Inventory Specialist
    Cryptic Vector is looking for a flexible, hands-on Inventory Specialist to support cross-functional coordination and auditing for asset acquisition, tracking, replacement, and disposal. You'll keep operations running smoothly and securely by optimizing resources, following government and company standards for assets, and supporting information protection efforts. You will also ensure regular audits are completed and that all assets are properly tagged, labeled, and entered into the system upon acquisition to support real-time tracking and compliance.
    We're after someone who's naturally organized, compliance-focused, and proactive. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy tackling challenges where the outcome actually matters, this role will keep you engaged!
    Responsibilities
    • Maintain accurate records to track inventory and assets (corporate and program equipment) in the company's inventory management system (Snipe-IT), including tagging and entry of new acquisitions
    • Perform monthly audits (targeting 10% of total assets) and prepare reports to ensure compliance
    • Track and manage equipment across multiple government projects, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements for acquisition, use, and disposition
    • Coordinate equipment returns, transfers and compliant disposition of retired assets
    • Collaborate with IT and departments on new equipment intake, provide documentation for shipments/returns, serve as the primary point of contact for asset inquiries, and contribute to policy development
    • Coordinate software asset tracking
    • Provide occasional coverage for reception duties as needed to support facility operations
    • Demonstrate flexibility to work between our Miamisburg and Liberty Township locations based on business requirements
    • Flexibility to perform other duties as needed

    Requirements
    • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with polygraph/SCI eligibility, active clearance upon hire a preference but not required
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related productivity tools
    • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, Accounting, and Security
    • Proven reliability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking equipment, and related components is strongly preferred
