JOB SUMMARY

The Healthcare Project Manager is responsible for managing one or multiple commercial construction projects in Florida. This role oversees all phases of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and safety compliance. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the owner, architect, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams, ensuring successful execution in alignment with CPPI’s standards and core values.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or a construction management role.
  • Experience in healthcare construction; AHCA experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and project controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience managing budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and goal-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction/project management software (e.g., Procore or similar).


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal building codes.
  • Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and owners while building strong working relationships and ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage contractual documentation, including owner contracts, subcontracts, schedules, pay applications, change orders, and project correspondence.
  • Oversee submittal approvals, long-lead item identification, procurement, permitting, insurance, bonds, and project requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain construction schedules, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Lead project meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure timely resolution of project issues.
  • Support project staff and superintendents through continuous coordination, communication, and project planning.
  • Manage quality control programs, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee closeout activities, warranty processes, post-occupancy issues, and final project completion.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor invoices, certified payroll requirements, owner payments, and financial processes.
  • Support pre-construction services and manage programs such as ODP and LEED when applicable.
  • Participate in ongoing training and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
