Responsibilities: * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting government mission objectives. * Analyze requirements and develop technical solutions to address complex operational challenges. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers.
* Collaborate with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and implement software capabilities. * Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering artifacts. * Support Agile software development processes, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure software solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability * This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Required Qualifications: * Active TS/SCI clearance preferred. Candidates with an active Public Trust clearance or higher may be considered if eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or approved comparable combination of education, training, and experience. * Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications in a collaborative development environment. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create technical documentation and reports.
Highly Desired Qualifications: * Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications. * Experience implementing and supporting event-driven architectures * Strong understanding of secure software development practices and cybersecurity principles. * Practical experience working in Agile environments utilizing the Scrum framework.
* Experience designing and implementing modern user interfaces and user experiences. * Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification. * Scrum-related developer certifications and demonstrated Agile development experience.
* Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD). * Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes and related technologies. Why Work for Us?
