Job description

Control Risks is hiring a team of GSOC Analysts to support a major Fortune 500 client of ours. Join a fast-paced Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team responsible for protecting the client's people, assets, operations, and reputation around the world. In this role, you will monitor and assess global security, geopolitical, and operational risks, transforming complex information into actionable intelligence for decision-makers and senior leaders. Working as part of a 24/7/365 team, you will identify emerging threats, support incident response efforts, and help drive informed business decisions during critical events. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on global resilience while collaborating with experienced security and intelligence professionals.

This role will be supporting the client's swing shift and cover either Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday 2:00 pm-12:00 am on a 4x10 schedule.

  • Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms and client specific intelligence gathering tools for known and potential threats to employees, company assets and reputation.
  • Collect and validate intelligence, while assessing the credibility and reliability of open-source information.
  • Monitor worldwide events; identify events with the potential to impact the client's personnel, assets supply chain, clinical trials and operations. Examples of relevant event categories include, but are not limited to protests/activists, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, political instability, terrorism, and crime.
  • Monitor geopolitical events that may impact executive travel, company events and/or operations.
  • Draft and review concise notifications for distribution to the Client's decision-makers and global security leaders.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of other global security professionals in support of the GSOC's 24/7/365 operations.
  • Conduct detailed written and verbal situation briefings to global security executives and senior leadership.
  • Monitor global security, geopolitical and operational risks, with specific responsibility for identifying and escalating threats to pharmaceutical supply chains, including manufacturing sites, logistics routes and critical thirdparty suppliers.
  • Communicate with senior security management on matters related to employee welfare, global incidents, operational issues and critical situations.
