Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Contour Hardening, Inc. is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records; This role supports warehouse operations by verifying, documenting, and distributing materials in a timely and efficient manner. and preparing product to be returned to vendors or delivered to customers as needed. The shift for this position is Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM with possible overtime opportunity.

Starting Rate:

$18.00-$19.50/Hour

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and oversee production team members during assigned shifts  

• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards

• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed • Train, coach, and support employees on equipment, processes, and procedures

• Enforce safety rules and company policies consistently

• Conduct station audits for matching quantities

• Communicate production goals, issues, and results to supervisors and managers

• Assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues 

• Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean initiatives 

Skills and Abilities Required

• Strong Leadership and team coordination skills

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking production data

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, maneuver 50 lbs. as required

• Comfortable working in warehouse environments (may include varying temperatures) • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
