    Job description

    Constellium is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high value-added aluminum products and solutions for a broad range of markets and applications, with a strong focus on Aerospace, Automotive and Packaging. We design, develop and engineer products and solutions in partnership with our customers. With approximately 11,500 employees worldwide, Constellium operates 24 manufacturing sites across North America, Europe and China and generated $8.4 billion of revenue in 2025.

    The IT Director North America has total responsibility for all business application systems, IT infrastructure, and projects that support the business units in North America. Scope of work includes business relationship management, staff management, project execution, strategy support, business support, operating and capital budgeting. The position plays the key role between the Central IT organization and the North American regional and local IT teams.


    Responsibilities

    • Support, communicate and advocate the IT strategy in the sites and Business Units
    • Business partnering at the senior management level within the three Business Units present in the region (Aerospace & Transportation, Automotive Structures and Industry,
    • Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products).
    • Understanding business needs and translating them into IT solutions that are aligned with our standards and principles
    • Management of people, performance management, succession plans, training and education and communication within the region to have the right people / skills for success.
    • Define regional IT roadmaps including project and life-cycle activities and change management plans in-line with Global IT strategy.
    • Responsible for budgeting and cost control within the region.
    • Ensure NA IT teams collaborate, contribute, implement and help improve global processes such as incident management, request management, change management, project management, demand and capacity management.
    • Successful delivery of major local or global IT projects support business projects as necessary.
    • Responsible for disaster recovery processes and procedures. Create and/or maintain an up-to-date IT recovery capability.
    • Overseeing local service management, in line with the global set-up.
    • Liaison and close collaboration with Central IT teams for solution delivery of global services, initiatives and process standardization.
    • Understand the technology and business strategies of the organization to make continuous improvement recommendations.
    • Representing the region at the IT Leadership Team, as well as being a global team member sharing accountabilities for the overall success of the IT function.
    • Proper management of SOX and compliance controls and processes within the sites and for all relevant local systems.
    • Ensure site IT teams follow good practices, standards, procedures and security requirements as needed and support in doing the same with OT teams as part of our IT/OT initiatives

    Qualifications

    • 10-15 years of experience in IT with 5-10 years in a senior leadership role, bachelor's degree in information technology required with a master's degree preferred.
    • Experience with leading multiple technology teams is preferred
    • Experience working in a multinational company with centralized functions and de-centralized accountability.
    • Experience in manufacturing environment is beneficial
    • Ability to work, collaborate and get things done in a global complex matrix organization and in collaboration with different Global IT, local IT teams and business teams.
    • Good leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a regionally distributed information technology team.
    • Strong and convincing communication and interpersonal skills to work in various business organizational levels effectively.
    • Good skills in making operational and project budgets (including business cases), forecasting, tracking, living and promotive a financial discipline.
    • Ability to manage projects as a project manager and to supervise team members who are managing projects.
