The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment and be comfortable using basic inspection tools, following work instructions, and maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure tooling meets quality standards.
  • Support tooling repair, rework, and preparation for production use.
  • Follow written work instructions, drawings, and internal process requirements.
  • Etch, label, package, and organize tooling components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to tooling condition, rework, and inventory.
  • Work closely with tooling, quality, production, and engineering teams.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to use basic hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, or other precision measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
  • Comfortable working with small parts and precision components.
  • Reliable, organized, and quality-focused.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Basic blueprint reading experience.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, part labeling, and documentation.
Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, tooling, shop noise, and standard production conditions. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
