Responsibilities include
- Supervision of MA/Receptionist staff
- Oversee detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using Electronic Health Record.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety standards.
- Assist with complex procedures such as IV infusion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct patient education on medication management, and instructions to promote ongoing health and wellness.
Qualifications
- Valid MA licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience working in primary care welcomed but not required
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
- Experience in IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration
- Excellent communication skills
