    Job Description

    Our next Recovery Specialist will support company growth and gong-worthy customer service while minimizing recovery losses by serving as a liaison for the Comoto family (RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, REVER and Common Tread), manufacturers, vendors, and distributors. In this role, you will work directly with vendors and manufacturers on product disposition of defective and unwanted products converting unsellable inventory to cash or sellable inventory.

    Our Next Recovery Specialist Will:

    • Recover costs associated with defective and unsaleable products while minimizing costs impacting reverse logistics operations
    • Pick, pack, and ship vendor returns utilizing freight and parcel carriers
    • Evaluate, inspect, recondition, and refurbish items for restock
    • Meeting established metrics for daily productivity
    • Support returns & warranty customer service resolutions post returns process
    • Identify and implement continuous improvements focusing on reduction in cost processes and improving system accuracy and compliance
    • Proactively establish recovery (RTV and warranty) policies and procedures with new brands and collaborates with suppliers to optimize recovery process
    • Serve as the main point of contact for vendor or manufacturer to facilitate product recalls, updates, or returns for Comoto Fulfillment Centers
    • Interact with Accounting to support documentation and processing of credit and product replacements
    • Work with Receiving and Inventory teams to sort incoming packages for warranty, returns, mis-ships, and product refurbishment procedures
    • Foster team growth and development through continued departmental education, training, and finding gongs. Maintain an expert level of proficiency in the Admin software and manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
    • Provide feedback on Reverse Logistics Team Members' performance to the Managers, Supervisors, and Leads
    • Train new returns and inventory team members on warranty and recovery procedures
    • Provide details of incorrect product descriptions, and photos to Merchandising Team
    • Identify items for disposition on eBay and work with Returns Team to create auctions and record the sales
    • Retrieve or restock items that may be as high as 20 feet off the ground.
    Qualifications

    Our Next Recovery Specialist Has:

    • At least six months of experience in a similar role in a fulfillment setting. 
    • A commitment to Comoto's Core Values
    • Thorough knowledge of warranty and returns policies and procedures 
    • Current certification to operate Comoto's stock picker or willingness to become certified. 
    • Problem solving and analytical skills
    • Established communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
    • The ability to interact and participate in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-driven environment
    • Time management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
    • The ability to occasionally work a schedule outside of normal business hours
    • Writing and math skills normally acquired through high school education
