Community Support Services, Inc. is currently seeking Community Support Associates to support adults with autism. If you are compassionate and have an interest in teaching adults with autism the necessary skills to work and live in the community, we want to talk with you! Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8a-4p and remain constant each week to enable employees to manage personal and family needs. Individuals receiving support require assistance and instruction on how to complete vocational skills, obtain work and access social and recreational activities during daytime hours.. Many have limited communication skills and engage in challenging behavior. Direct support professionals work with nurses and psychologists to implement plans to teach individuals more independence and safe ways to achieve their goals.
