Location: Washington, DC / Annual Salary $65,000
This position will address youth in Maryland and you must be familiar with the Seat Pleasant area.
This position supports programming funded through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), focused on prevention, intervention, and support services for justice-involved and at-risk youth. The Case Manager / Outreach Worker provides direct services, builds community connections, and supports youth in achieving positive outcomes. This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Principal AccountabilitiesBachelors degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience working with at-risk or justice-involved youth preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredStrong case management, communication, and crisis intervention skills. Ability to build rapport with youth, maintain documentation, and work flexible hours.
