We're looking for an Accounting Associate - Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you'll help manage homeowner assessments, account inquiries, ownership transfers, and payment processing across a growing portfolio of communities while ensuring accuracy, exceptional service, and timely follow-through.Â

What You'll Do
Manage Accounts Receivable Operations- Process monthly homeowner assessment billings across multiple communities and entitiesÂ
- Process incoming payments and maintain accurate account recordsÂ
- Generate and distribute account statements and delinquency noticesÂ
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of resident and owner account dataÂ
Support Property Transfers & Disclosures- Coordinate ownership transfers and disclosure requests through HomeWiseDocsÂ
- Manage documentation related to resale, builder, vacant lot, and other property transfersÂ
- Ensure records are complete, accurate, and processed in a timely mannerÂ
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service- Assist residents and property owners with account questions and payment inquiriesÂ
- Respond to requests from title companies, lenders, real estate professionals, and management partnersÂ
- Escalate complex issues as needed while ensuring timely follow-up and resolutionÂ
Contribute to Team Success- Research account discrepancies and assist with data maintenanceÂ
- Support ongoing process improvements and departmental initiativesÂ
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the accounting team and company growthÂ
What We're Looking For
- 1-4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or related experienceÂ
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyÂ
- Excellent organizational and time management skillsÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Customer-service mindset with a high level of professionalismÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookÂ
- Data entry experienceÂ
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of general accounting principlesÂ
- Experience with homeowner associations, community associations, or property managementÂ
- Real estate title transfer or disclosure experienceÂ
- Experience with Vantaca or similar property management/accounting softwareÂ
- Ability to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team memberÂ
