Job description

Job Requirements
  • Minimum OSHA 30 certification (Construction Industry preferred but will accept General Industry) but prefer advanced certification such at OSHA 500, OSHA 510, CSP, CHST, COSS, CSSS, CSST, etc.
  • Must have valid, up-to-date CPR / First Aid certification
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial or commercial construction field safety experience
  • Knowledge of safety and health procedures
  • Familiarity with OSHA 1910 and 1926 construction standards
  • Certification in basic rigging, trench and shore, confined space entry and rescue
  • Good analytical, human relations, communication, and training skills

Job Duties
  • Walking job site to ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Daily site audits
  • Permit writing
  • Accident investigation
  • Writing of safety policies and procedures
  • Daily toolbox talks
  • New hire site orientations
  • Ensure job site meets all federal, state and local safety regulations
