About The Role
Our client is seeking dependable Production Operators to join its growing manufacturing team. This position supports a dynamic production environment with evolving processes and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small, team-based, task-focused environment.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and kit materials for production according to work orders and specifications.
- Clean and prepare parts for manufacturing processes.
- Operate production equipment, including media blasting equipment, punch presses, transfer molding presses, and sawing equipment.
- Perform detailed assembly, inspection, and handling of small components requiring precision and close attention to detail.
- Follow established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures throughout the production process.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality and workmanship requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, quality, and efficiency.
About you
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience using tweezers and small hand tools under a microscope.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and follow inspection, assembly, and rework instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 35 up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous electronics manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment
