Elementary Intermediate Classroom Teacher for English, Social Studies, and Science
2026-2027 School Year

Colorado International Language Academy (CILA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Intermediate Classroom Teacher for English, Social Studies, and Science for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports students as they strengthen literacy, content knowledge, and critical thinking skills.
CILA is a tuition-free public charter school offering language immersion in Spanish, Mandarin, and German. This English-language position plays a key role in supporting academic growth within a globally focused, multilingual school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science aligned with Colorado Academic Standards and CILA curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons across content areas
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback
  • Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and administration
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and expectations
  • Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide events

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Colorado teaching license preferred but not required
  • Must be able to pass the Praxis exam(s) for the subject areas taught
  • Experience teaching upper elementary preferred
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needs
  • Commitment to collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement
  • Enthusiasm for working with students in a multicultural, language-rich environment
