Job description

Why UKG:

At UKG, the work you do matters. The code you ship, the decisions you make, and the care you show a customer all add up to real impact. Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.

We never stop learning. We never stop challenging the norm. We push for better, and we celebrate the wins along the way. Here, you’ll get flexibility that’s real, benefits you can count on, and a team that succeeds together. Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.

The Certinia Product Manager owns the business vision, functional scope, and delivery priorities for the company’s Certinia implementation. This role is responsible for making sure the platform supports the end-to-end services lifecycle, from estimation and project setup, through resource planning, time entry, expenses, delivery tracking, billing, and reporting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Own the business roadmap for the Certinia platform and prioritize scope across all implementation workstreams.

  • Define how the organization will use Project Management for project planning, execution, tracking, project financials, and issue management.

  • Define and govern Project Templates so repeatable project structures, tasks, milestones, assignments, and resource requests can be reused consistently.

  • Own Resource Management, including resource records, resource requests, staffing, capacity, demand, scheduling, availability, and skills-based allocation.

  • Define Skills Management requirements, including skills taxonomy, skill profiles, certifications, ratings, and matching resources to project demand.

  • Own Time Management, including time entry, approvals, submission rules, and time-to-billing controls.

  • Own Expense Management, including expense capture, approval, reimbursement, and linkage of expenses to customer billing and project invoicing.

  • Own Billing Events and billing flow design, including billable record identification, billing event generation, release to finance, and invoice readiness.

  • Own Services CPQ / Services Estimator, including estimate templates, opportunity-based estimates, pricing assumptions, time, cost, and expense planning, and the conversion of approved estimates into projects.

  • Translate business requirements into backlog items, solution decisions, and release priorities across all Certinia modules.

  • Lead fit-gap sessions and decide what should be configured, changed, deferred, or handled outside Certinia.

  • Partner with implementation consultants, solution architects, finance, operations, project managers, and end users during design and build.

  • Own data migration scope, including source data cleansing, migration strategy, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.

  • Own integrations with the finance system and related upstream or downstream tools, especially where resource, time, expense, billing, and project data must flow across systems.

  • Drive UAT planning, defect triage, business sign-off, cutover, and go-live readiness.

  • Maintain post-go-live enhancement backlog, release roadmap, and continuous improvement plan.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience configuring Salesforce-based enterprise platforms.

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Certinia PSA (Professional Services Automation).

  • Experience supporting multi-system integrations within enterprise environments.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Professional Services Automation (PSA) processes, including project management, resource management, skills management, time entry, expense management, estimating, billing, and data migration workstreams.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support implementation activities and business process improvements.

  • Strong stakeholder management, business analysis, and prioritization skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance business process requirements, user adoption, and implementation constraints.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Professional Services Operations, project accounting, services billing, or Professional Services Automation (PSA) transformation initiatives.

  • Experience with template-based implementation or rollout methodologies.

  • Experience planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Experience supporting post-launch optimization and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification preferred.
