Job description

Burn Boot Camp – Eden Prairie, MN
Part-Time | 2–5 Shifts per Week

Compensation

  • $25–$30 per 45-minute camp after onboarding, based on experience
  • $16 per hour for paid training, meetings and administrative work

Burn Boot Camp Eden Prairie is looking for an energetic and dependable Personal Trainer who loves coaching people—not simply leading workouts.


Our trainers lead 45-minute strength and conditioning camps while providing individualized attention in a motivating group environment. Burn provides the programming, so you can focus on coaching, proper form, member relationships, safety and results.


Experienced trainers are encouraged to apply, but we are also willing to train and develop a motivated candidate with strong potential.


Schedule


We are seeking someone who can consistently work 2–5 shifts per week, including a combination of the following:

  • Early mornings: approximately 5:00–7:30 a.m.
  • Mid-mornings: approximately 8:00–11:00 a.m.
  • Evenings: approximately 4:00–7:00 p.m.
  • Rotating Saturday mornings


You will not be expected to work every time block, but consistent availability across more than one shift type is strongly preferred.


Responsibilities


  • Lead safe, energetic and results-driven group fitness camps
  • Demonstrate exercises and coach proper form and technique
  • Provide personalized modifications and progressions for all fitness levels
  • Learn members’ goals, limitations and accomplishments
  • Conduct brief one-on-one Focus Meetings to support member goals and progress
  • Build meaningful relationships with members and prospective members
  • Help trial guests understand Burn’s value and confidently present membership options
  • Partner with the Burn Ambassador and leadership teams to support member retention and gym growth
  • Create an inclusive environment where every member feels welcomed, challenged and supported
  • Participate in team meetings, continued education and community events
  • Help maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness and the overall member experience

Qualifications


Required:


  • Passion for fitness, coaching and helping others succeed
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence, positive energy and the ability to lead a group
  • Dependability and openness to coaching and feedback
  • Consistent availability for 2–5 shifts per week
  • Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain it before coaching independently
  • Current accredited Personal Trainer certification or willingness to earn one within an agreed-upon timeframe

Preferred but not required:


  • One year of personal training, group fitness or coaching experience
  • Experience in strength training, athletics, teaching, sales or motivational leadership
