Sr. Manager, Project Management

Position Summary:

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Location: Philadelphia, PA

100% Onsite

Catalent's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania site serves as the company's North American Center of Excellence for clinical supply packaging, delivering comprehensive, endtoend support for global clinical trials across multiple therapeutic modalities. The site provides integrated services including direct comparator sourcing, blinding and manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, storage and distribution, and clinical returns management, enabling efficient and compliant trial execution. It also plays a growing role in supporting biologic as well as cell and gene therapy programs, with enhanced coldchain and cryogenic handling capabilities designed to meet the complex requirements of advanced therapies. As a critical hub within Catalent's global clinical supply network, the Philadelphia site helps sponsors accelerate development timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality, flexibility, and regulatory compliance.

Our Philadelphia site is located in the Bensalem/Northeast Philadelphia area.

We have an opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Project Management to join our team. In this role, you will lead the department team and manage projects from award to completion, ensuring proper setup, planning, monitoring, and execution. You will recruit, develop, and coach team members while driving performance and supporting client management. This position also involves financial oversight of projects and leading continuous improvement initiatives within the department and site.

The Role:

• Ensure team members are delivering projects on time
• Remove operational challenges
• Keep projects moving forward
• Act as point of escalation for customer inquiries
• Support and participate in onsite audits
• Work with managers to implement project management related strategies
• Mentor, develop and support team members
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent relevant practical experience
• 5 years' experience in a customer service or appropriate business-related area preferred
• 2 years of experience leading employees
• Professional Project Management Qualification preferred
• Professional Management Qualification preferred
• Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalentsponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
