Job description

CARSTAR Collision and Glass is looking for a Parts Clerk to work in their busy auto collision repair facility. This is a fulltime position with opportunity for overtime.  Duties and Responsibilities: * Keeping parts department clean and orderly. * Provide service technicians with parts as required. * Verify parts for condition, correctness and inventory them. * Work with production team to review estimates and parts received for accuracy. * Ordering parts/supplies, following up on shortages, backorders, and expedited parts; reporting updates to production team. * Process cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required. * Any other general tasks as required. Qualifications: * At least one year’s experience in the industry would be an asset. * Functional/Technical Knowledge of vehicles and repairs is an asset. * Ability to use multiple computer programs daily. * Work independently without close supervision. * Flexible/adaptable to constant change. * Highly organized individuals with the ability to multitask will be an asset. * Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work under own initiative. * Strong communication skills (written and verbal). * Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
