Make an hourly rate of up to $74 as a Step Down Nurse in Lewes, DE. CareRev connects clinicians with flexible per diem shifts in your area. This role is ideal for nurses who want more flexibility in their career and have experience in Stepdown (SDU) and/or Progressive Care Unit (PCU). See specific requirements for this Step Down RN shift below.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Current RN license and good standing with the Delaware State Board of Nursing.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Stepdown RN (most recent experience within the last year).
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, as well as assessment skills relating to a variety of conditions/diagnoses.
- Strong familiarity titrating common drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone following facility protocols, and current ACLS guidelines.
- Strong experience with managing cardiac, vascular, and other complex/higher acuity patients.
