they are doing foundational research in key research areas including forecasting,
personalization, NLP and vision. You will be working on novel neural network
techniques that create custom models on different types of data. These techniques
are embedded in the Abacus.AI platform that is now being used in several Fortune
500 companies, at scale.
Abacus.ai is a Series C ($95 mill), AI cloud-based ML platform, founded by ex-
Google, Amazon, IIT, Dartmouth team and funded by Decibel Ventures and Eric
Schmidt. Abacus.AI is the world’s first cloud AI platform that handles all aspects
of machine and deep learning at enterprise scale. For repeatable use-cases such
as churn prediction, time-series forecasting and deep-learning based
personalization, we offer an extremely customizable end to end autonomous AI

About the Position
In this role, you will be a frontend engineer at our company. You’ll evolve our
frontend architecture, design and implement new software patterns, and share
best practices as we scale the team over the next year. As part of a fast-paced
agile environment, you will ship features with us daily. You"ll be a part of the
development of our React desktop client and web app, working closely with both
product and engineering to create a powerful. Our team values building empathy
with our customers through user interviews and customer support, and you’ll be
a critical part of our product development process and customer support efforts.
Who you are
• You have 5+ years of frontend software developer experience
• You’ve built and managed complex web applications with React / Redux, Python
and are fluent with frontend technologies including HTML and CSS
• You have a strong understanding of interaction design and usability, developing
with the end user top of mind
• You have strong knowledge of testing strategy and implementation with JS
frameworks
• You have experience with build pipelines and preprocessing
• You have a good understanding of API service-based architectures and RESTful
APIs
