POSITION: Expert HPC Network/Systems Engineer
REQUISITION: K EY-TE.HPC-03.080626
LOCATION: Ft. Meade, Maryland
JOB DESCRIPTION:
(U) Provide Tier 4 HPC support to Ft. Meade and UDC sites.
(U) Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high- performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre.
(U) Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
(U) Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
(U) Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
(U) Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and Suse operating systems.
LCAT QUALIFICATIONS:
CERTIFICATION: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree + 10 years minimum experience, OR
No Degree + 15 years minimum experience, OR
Ten (10) years' experience in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above.
Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
NOTE: Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
