BWL Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain in-depth insights into clients' mental health needs and concerns.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each individual.
  • Provide ongoing individual therapy sessions, maintaining a focus on the unique goals and progress of each client.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual consultations, ensuring a safe and supportive space for discussion.
  • Continuously engage in professional development activities, attending workshops and seminars to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of current best practices in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes adults and adolescents experiencing diverse mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
  • Possess a current and valid license as a:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R)
    • Psychologist or Licensed Psychoanalyst
  • Hold a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exemplify strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster therapeutic relationships.
  • Display empathy and a non-judgmental attitude, allowing clients to feel comfortable discussing sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrate superior organizational and time management abilities to balance an active caseload and administrative duties.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience conducting teletherapy sessions is an asset, as is familiarity with EHR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, contingent upon experience and caseload management.
