A Day In The Life:
To lead and execute complex data migration projects for Bunge's global business operations, primarily for SAP ERP implementations. This individual contributor role focuses on ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and successful transitions across various systems, leveraging deep expertise to solve complex challenges and drive impactful business outcomes that support Bunge's ambition for digital transformation and continuous reinvention.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive data migration strategies, plans, and best practices, primarily for SAP ERP implementations, ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
• Manage the full lifecycle of large and complex data migration projects, taking accountability for successful results, including associated resource planning, with limited managerial oversight.
• Serve as the recognized organizational expert, applying deep technical expertise to analyze and solve complex, unprecedented data migration challenges specifically within SAP systems.
• Establish and enforce rigorous standards for data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the migration process, with a strong focus on master data governance within SAP.
• Execute complex data migration tasks, leveraging advanced proficiency with SAP data migration tools (e.g., LSMW, Migration Cockpit, BDC) and actively guiding the migration stream.
• Provide leadership and guidance to data migration professionals and contribute to short to mid-term talent optimization plans within the data migration functional area.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
• Master's Degree (or Bachelor's with exceptional relevant experience) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 14+ years of progressive IT experience, with a dedicated focus on enterprise-level data migration in SAP environments (including S/4HANA). This includes 7-10 years in a leadership role overseeing data migration for multiple full-cycle ERP implementations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP, CDMP, PMP).
• Deep understanding of Agri, Foods, and FMCG sectors, including critical master data objects (vendor, customer, material, finance, logistics), data governance, quality management, and integration across diverse systems.
• Expertise in various data migration strategies, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ETL processes, data quality, data validation).
• Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) and their data structures.
• Proficiency in database technologies and SQL.
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations.
• Proven expertise in SAP data migration tools (e.g., LSMW, Migration Cockpit, BDC).
• Strong command of master data governance principles and experience with SAP MDG.
