Builtech is currently seeking an Estimator to join our preconstruction team.

Responsibilities:

• Process RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcements of bidding opportunity.
• Analyze drawings and specifications.
• Understand contractual terms and conditions.
• Competently draft, proof, audit, and deliver proposals.
• Work with Project and Marketing staff coordinating contributions from all into proposals.
• Solicit and engage subcontractors to provide proposals.
• Qualify subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance with project documents.
• Ensure Builtech?s compliance with bidding regulations and goals for each project.
• Develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals to existing or new clients.
• Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Work on multiple bids simultaneously and deliver in accordance with deadline objectives.
• Identify & execute strategic opportunities to optimize Builtech?s position in securing work.

Requuirements:

• Ideally 3-6 years of construction experience

• Experience with internet-based bidding sites is preferred (Building Connected, Gradebeam, SmartBid, etc) 
• Proficient with Microsoft (Outlook, Excel and Word) and BlueBeam  
• Effective communication and ability to work independently. 
• Must be able to multitask; handling many diverse projects at once while meeting deadlines. 
• Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time 
• The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers 
• The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment 
• Valid driver?s license

Compensation: $90,000-115,000+++
